Easily Resize a Partition in Windows Vista

Apr 20, 2009 Leave a Comment

Well as you all might be aware that the softwares like Partition Magic don't work in Windows Vista, you will have to look to different approach which I am going to mention in my today's post. To do this follow the following steps:

  1. Click on the Start menu and Right click on Computer and click on Manage.
  2. Click continue to give the permission.
  3. Expand the storage and click the Disk Management where, you will find your partitions for your disks. Right click on the partition you’d like to modify and do whatever you want like format, shrink etc.

Partition Magic doesn't support Vista, why not try the alternative to Partition Magic - EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition
It works perfectly with Windows Vista OS with more advanced functions than Disk Management built in Vista. And it is totally free for home users!
