Save your Bandwidth with Firefox

The best browser according to me is Firefox, with only one drawback which I feel is its too much memory usage, and that also justified because it is not only a web browser but a power packed web browser, and with more and more Extensions/Plug-in Installed, it becomes more heavy on system resources. But when I see it as a web Browser for my Workstation I feel that this is best Browser.

Using Firefox extensions, many customizations can be made into it, and here I want to share some of the Bandwidth saving Extensions; and these are-

  1. Flash Block

    <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
      <a href="" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" ilo-full-src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9uv4GoWFJ1U/SbyCWI3zMvI/AAAAAAAAAxU/-Q7x2Xe1GpI/s320/flashblock.jpg" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9uv4GoWFJ1U/SbyCWI3zMvI/AAAAAAAAAxU/-Q7x2Xe1GpI/s320/flashblock.jpg" /></a>
    </div>

    <p>
      It is used to Block all flash (swf) files embedded in a webpage, but you can easily see them by left click. </li>

      <li>
        <a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1672/" target="_blank" title="Block Images">ImgLikeOpera</a> <p>
        </p>

        <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
          <a href="" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" ilo-full-src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9uv4GoWFJ1U/SbyCxPN30-I/AAAAAAAAAxk/-QOXeha_26Y/s320/imglikeopera.jpg" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9uv4GoWFJ1U/SbyCxPN30-I/AAAAAAAAAxk/-QOXeha_26Y/s320/imglikeopera.jpg" /></a>
        </div>

        <p>
          It is used to block Images or to load only cached Images, it can also load images in single click, if required. </li>

          <li>
            <a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/" target="_blank" title="Blocks Javascript">NoScript</a> <p>
              If there are lot of Java scripts on a webpage, it takes a lot of time to load that page, and page also might be unsafe. So to reduce bandwidth from unnecessary JavaScript use this Firefox Extension.</li> </ol>

              <p>
                <a href="" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ilo-full-src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9uv4GoWFJ1U/SbyCeFQASRI/AAAAAAAAAxc/HBF8K6rmExQ/s320/noscript.jpg" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/_9uv4GoWFJ1U/SbyCeFQASRI/AAAAAAAAAxc/HBF8K6rmExQ/s320/noscript.jpg" /></a></span>
